20 Attributes of God for your Prayer-time & Worship

I recently learned of an easy way you can pray when you go before the Lord if you sometimes struggle with what and how to pray. It was from a video I watched from Pastor Vlad Savchuk on YouTube titled Prayer Strategies To Build Your Prayer Life. He speaks of a strategy called the TACOS method:
T-THANKSGIVING
A-ADORATION
C-CONFESSION
O-PRAY FOR OTHERS (INTERCESSION)
S-PRAY FOR SELF
I know that sometimes when we go in prayer, we run out of things to say when we honor God with adorations.
For me personally, throughout my life growing up, I have seen my heavenly father’s hand of protection extended to me time and time again. Some of those times, I felt undeserving of it because, at the time he showed up, I was not living a completely righteous life. But only a father knows the hearts of his children, and I know that each time he showed up for me, despite my failures and faults, he knew I never did them intentionally.
If there is one attribute of my heavenly father that I never doubt, it is how he always delivers me from my adversaries, no matter how great they may be. This has given me such faith to never fear when trouble comes, and this is one of the reasons I enjoy my prayer time to give him thanks. And to also honor him with the adorations that I have learned in the word. Such as God my defender, my shield, and a present help for me in times of trouble.

But even with those that have personal meaning to me, knowing more of God’s attributes from others in the Bible who have, like me, come to know of his nature, can help us to know him better and allow us to identify them in our lives when we encounter them. I went online and compiled a list of his attributes that I will use in my prayer time to glorify him. Somehow this part of my prayer always allows me to feel more of his loving presence, and sometimes I can’t help but get overwhelmed with emotion, knowing I am loved that much.
Today, I want to share them with you so you can know his nature more and glorify Him with them as you pray. Trust me when I say, there is something special that happens when we begin to exalt him.
Here are 20 attributes of God to honor him with when you pray or worship

I have a book that I record every name and attribute of God that I find when I am in my Bible study time. These will serve well in my book. For anyone looking for a good bible to use in their bible study as well, I can recommend the one I use, and the reason is this: I am always on the computer working, and so my eyes have now gotten to the point where I can’t see small words up close so clearly unless it’s on this computer.
It’s the KJV Study Bible in large print (the only one I read). I love the study notes at the bottom of each page that help me with knowing some details about the context of the scripture I’m reading. I hope my recommendation will bless you if you are looking to study the word of God and I hope the list of attributes of our Father will also strengthen your prayer life.
I want to share with you as well a T-shirt from my Spiritual Warfare Warriors collection that fits with worship. I hope you like it. It’s a great reminder to us of the power of our worship when we sometimes feel downcast. Enter promo code: HONORGODPROMO to get 10% off on either or both items.
