I never knew that God would have called me to write books-much less Christian Fiction Books.
I grew up reading classic literature, which portrayed real life situations and often demonstrates how the Christ-like characteristics that dwell inside us, usually enables us to make good moral decisions to turn things around. Some of which are: Les Misérables, Jane Eyre, Tales of Two Cities, & The Count of Monte Cristo.

Think of how much we can gain and grow in our spiritual walk, if we can learn from other person's experiences and see how they overcome the trials and pitfalls that many of us are ashamed to talk about. And all this through them sharing how God had a hand in their journey.
While Non-Fiction is good to teach us truth, there is place for fiction as well and Jesus demonstrated the importance for this with the use of his parables. He knew that not everyone then and even now understood when he spoke because he spoke in the spirit and not the flesh, and using parables made it easy for him to relay his messages.
It's with this understanding that I know Christian Fiction as purpose and each author needs to recognize the purpose for his or her having this gift and calling. It's not to take readers into la-la land of escaping reality but to help them navigate their life through other's experiences.
When I started my journey, I was wondering if there would be an audience for it with how much I portray real life situations, many of which, I experienced myself with a couple from others who are close to me. It allows me to share the scriptures or prayers used to overcome those situations and this I knew readers experiencing similar scenarios would appreciate.
Think of how young people going through tough challenges and finding themselves falling into them and not sure how to walk away or if God's grace still is for them can find redemption and healing through a story which an author portrays that's real and relatable?
Here are 10 stories including a few of mine that deals with real like situations that we deal with and don't talk about much.
