I want to share one of the best reviews -The Path of the Chosen Warriors has received on Amazon and one that truly gives readers a clear insight of what the book has to share. Please indulge me and read it, It uplifts me everytime I read it. My thanks to the author for giving me a copy of her book in return for my honest review. The author's style of writing is different from my own, which is why I gave it four stars. The first few chapters were hard for me to get through but once I got into the book, I couldn’t put it down. I felt God’s presence—His joy at what she has written, His laughter mixed with mine, His tears mixed with mine, and His excitement that the author reminded me of His promises.
SPOILER ALERT Some of the comments below can reveal plot development First, I loved the author pointing out that the devil feels the power we possess but he knows we don’t understand or know the depth of the power we possess. How true is that!?! We are children of God. That alone should make us step out with confidence and boldness.
Another statement hit home, “Our lives are not our own, we belong to Jesus…” WOW. Third, I need to remind myself as I go through life that the battles if I face are not mine alone. As the author wrote, “relax, this is my battle.” The wonderful thing is Brad was smart enough to “let it go. He knew God was in control of everything…” That is so powerful! First I need to listen to God and second, I need to “Let it go.” God is in control! (Sorry for all the exclamation points—but this book stirred up my love for God.)
Fourth, this is a wonderful, fabulous, and thrilling…“The angels stood in formation to protect them and attack those who tried to harm them.” That has to be the most comforting feeling we as Christians need to embrace. God loves us enough to send angels to protect us. Hallelujah Finally, when Ruth tells of God talking to her, she describes it as feeling like love was speaking to me and healing every part of me, I swell with emotion. That is such a beautiful visual.
